Volunteer

Will has volunteered with multiple organizations focusing on helping and empowering neurodivergent children and teenagers since 2011.
Here are a few of those organizations:
Invictus is a paid work readiness program for autistic individuals. The participants originally only made dog biscuits but have since branched out into other culinary areas at the request of third party companies.

Their "No Bones About It" dog biscuits
Invictus's work caught the eye of Microsoft who donated a bunch of Surface 10 tablets to help them with their mission.
Will volunteered to help by creating digital, interactive versions of their recipes for those tablets using images and UI to convey instructions rather then rely solely on text.

The ATLAS Foundation is an educational program for children who require a 1 on 1 education. Will has volunteered multiple times to help with their summer school program, assisting the instructors and helping the kids.
He was also designated "the tech guy" due to his knowledge of accessibility software to help the children communicate and learn.

Watch Me Grow of New York City is a sensory gym and summer camp for autistic children. In addition to the activities at the center, they also frequently take the kids on field trips to various locations around the city.
Will began volunteering as a counselor when he was 14 and proceeded to volunteer for numerous other summers. As many of the kids liked video games (unsurprisingly) Will was easily identified as the only councilor who could keep up with the "nerd talk"
Fun Fact: Will was once almost killed by a man with a letter opener on his way to a volunteer job. He still managed to show up on time.
